ABOUT OUR PRACTICE
A Life of Balance
Symmetry Integrative Health was created by the owner, Christie Morgan out of 12 years of experience in the Massage Therapy World. Her focus has been and still is to help release people from their physical pain. She says, "In my studies, over time I began to focus on the underlying causes of pain and how it manifests in the body tissues. I discovered that pain and feelings are so closely related that the body often becomes like a mirror of how a person feels on the inside. I realized there was so much more material to be studied and that healing occurs more readily when the body, mind, and soul are in alignment. We struggle so often with environmental factors, life events, and internal ideas that our health suffers. And yet, we the majority of Americans seem to put our health lower than it should be on our list of priorities. It's an issue that should be more important to us if we want to have the best lives we can have on this earth. So our team is dedicated to helping others reach their goals for health and wellness. We work on the outside of a person and on the inside. After all, don't we want to be and feel "whole"? Spend Some Time With Us
There are many different styles of Yoga and here at Symmetry we focus on teaching yoga in such a way that the student gains an understanding of what it means to "practice yoga" and what it does for the body and mind. Start at the very beginning in a Yoga 101 class and learn the foundations of this beautiful practice that strengthens the body while improving body awareness, or get your yoga fix in a more advanced class to continue to grow.
Restore balance and agility
Tai Chi is an ancient practice derived from Martial Arts and the act of self defense. It is subtle but effective for enhancing the body's strength, balance and agility, and increases focus. Tai Chi is much like a moving meditation that creates a calm awareness. It is useful to all ages.
